The Digital Health and Diagnostics Component
Physical capacity alone will not improve outcomes. Patients are screened late, reports reach clinicians late, records are fragmented across facilities, and specialist capacity is concentrated in a few centres. This component makes digital records, diagnostics and telemedicine the connective tissue of the PRAGATI network.
- Unified electronic health record (EHR) linked to the Maharashtra Health Technology Mission and the national health stack.
- Digitised diagnostic workflows (laboratory, radiology, imaging, screening) with results routed to the treating clinician in near real time.
- Telemedicine and tele-diagnostics spanning the Kolhapur, Nanded, Latur, Nagpur and Pune hospitals and their spoke facilities.
- Population-level NCD and cancer screening registries driving call-recall, follow-up and outcome tracking.
- Real-time governance dashboards for state, district and facility levels supporting ADB reporting and results-based monitoring.
Governance and PMU
A Project Management Unit (PMU) would own day-to-day delivery across the five districts, coordinating vendors, standards and reporting against ADB requirements.
1
State level
Health Department and Maharashtra Health Technology Mission oversight, policy and standards.
2
District level
District administration using dashboards for results-based monitoring.
3
Facility level
Facility leadership and clinicians for care delivery and data quality.
Indicative:Governance structure is indicative and not part of the approved scope; it should be confirmed with the Health Department.
